Xàbia earmarks more than 100,000 euros for agreements with educational and cultural institutions

The Mayor of Javea, José Chulvi, on Thursday December 10th, signed the renewal of several economic cooperation agreements with educational and cultural institutions in the town. In total we have approved aid worth 105,154 euros.
Most of it is destined for centres associated with the Open University in Dénia, which will receive a grant of 82,220 euros. Another group receiving municipal aid worth 13,962 euros is the Mediterranean School of Painting, while the Institut d’Estudis Comarcals Marina Alta has a grant of 1,500 euros and the Tradicionals Barques Asociaicón receives 1,782 euros. The remainder goes to the parents associations (AMPA) of the primary and secondary schools, which receive between 900 and 1400 euros of financial assistance for organised activities. Agreements were signed with the two secondary schools, Antoni Llidó and Nº1 and three primary schools: Port, Arenal and Vicente Tena.
